Xingtai Steel achieves some new breakthroughs on intellectual property management. Recently, it is announced that Xingtai Steel’s project of “development and application of the key technology of wire for high strength automotive bolt” awarded the first prize of China Metallurgical Science and Technology Award in 2022. In recent years, the number and quality of patents filed is increasing. The number of patent applications received remains above 30 per year.

　　Xingtai Steel has been continuously improving the intellectual property management system, actively promoting scientific and technological innovation, developing new products with high precision and high added value to form the leading products and core technologies with proprietary intellectual property rights. In November, 2021, Xingtai Steel passed the certification of intellectual property management system. Since the beginning of this year, 12 customized grades of steel and 14 types of high-end wire have been developed, which effectively satisfied customers’ need. 

　　 In recent years, Xingtai Steel has attached great importance to scientific and technological innovation and the development and protection of employees' intellectual property rights. Therefore, it set up a platform for employees to conduct technical exchanges, training, technical research and experiments with the help of post-doctoral research station and created an innovation atmosphere for all employees through five economic technological innovation activities with masses characteristics (invention, creation, renovation, design and suggestion) and quality control activities. At the same time, Xingtai Steel strengthens the organization and coordination of patent work, focuses on the popularization of patent knowledge and talent training, enhances the management and technical personnel’s awareness of intellectual property rights and improves the level of patent management, so as to create a good environment for the creation and cultivation of patent projects.
